The project, leaded by Pau Bernadó, aims the structural and dynamic characterization of a family of intrinsically disordered proteins linked to neurodegenerative diseases, and to reveal the molecular basis of the aggregation process causing these pathologies. This objective will be achieved by the integration of NMR, SAXS and single-molecule FRET data into novel computational approaches. The successful candidate should have a PhD in chemistry, biology or physics and experience in solution state biomolecular NMR spectroscopy. Previous experience with protein expression and purification will be considered favourably. Knowledge in other biophysical techniques and computational methods will be favourably evaluated.
