PhD in computational spin dynamics at the Universities of Oxford and Oldenburg


We are seeking a graduate student with experience of, or an interest in, computational NMR or EPR who might be nervous of committing to a PhD in Brexit Britain but who would still welcome a strong connection to a leading UK university.


Based in the Department of Physics at the University of Oldenburg, Germany, the student will be supervised by Peter Hore (Department of Chemistry, University of Oxford). The position is funded by the DFG (https://www.sfb1372.de/) as part of Sonderforschungsbereich 1372: Magnetoreception and navigation in vertebrates: from biophysics to brain and behaviour.
