Default [NMR] 1st Conference on Zero and Ultra Low Field (ZULF) NMR

From The DNP-NMR Blog:

[NMR] 1st Conference on Zero and Ultra Low Field (ZULF) NMR

Dear colleagues,

We are happy to announce that the registration for the 1st Conference on Zero and Ultra-Low Field (ZULF) NMR is now open. The conference will take place from 1 to 4 September 2020 via videoconferencing and there is no registration fee. All the information and the registration link are available at http://www.conference.zulf.eu/.

You are encouraged to participate in the Twitter poster session. The best posters will be awarded prizes, sponsored by Wiley and ISMAR. As the field is emerging, we encourage attendees to present also ideas that have not yet been realized.

The conference addresses students and postdocs as well as specialists across all areas of NMR spectroscopy and imaging with an interest in the field of ZULF NMR. The first half of the event consists of a series of lectures that cover the basics of ZULF NMR, to provide background and context for those working so far mainly in high-field NMR. The second half is dedicated to talks on current developments in ZULF NMR science and technology, given by leaders in the field.

The 1st ZULF Conference is fully organized by students of the European Training Network ZULF (https://zulf.eu/), with the support of the consortium beneficiaries. We are excited about the unique opportunity that this conference offers to convey our enthusiasm for this field to others.

With kind regards,

Organizing Committee 1st ZULF Conference,
· V. S. Anjusha, Universität Ulm
· Quentin Chappuis, University Claude Bernard Lyon 1
· Kirill Sheberstov, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz

9th Field-Cycling NMR conference, Aberdeen, 27-30 July 2015
From The DNP-NMR Blog: 9th Field-Cycling NMR conference, Aberdeen, 27-30 July 2015 From the Ampere Magnetic Resonance List The 9th Conference on Fast Field-Cycling NMR Relaxometry will be held at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, from Monday 27th to Thursday 30th July, 2015. This is the biennial Field-Cycling NMR conference, previously held in Berlin (1998) and then every two years in Torino until 2013. So it is the first move for the conference since 2001!

High resolution NMR spectroscopy of nanocrystalline proteins at ultra-high magnetic field
High resolution NMR spectroscopy of nanocrystalline proteins at ultra-high magnetic field Abstract Magic-angle spinning (MAS) solid-state NMR (SSNMR) spectroscopy of uniformly-13C,15N labeled protein samples provides insight into atomic-resolution chemistry and structure. Data collection efficiency has advanced remarkably in the last decade; however, the study of larger proteins is still challenged by relatively low resolution in comparison to solution NMR. In this study, we present a systematic analysis of SSNMR protein spectra acquired at 11.7, 17.6 and 21.1 Tesla (1H frequencies of...
