Suppression of sampling artefacts in high-resolution four-dimensional NMR spectra using Signal Separation Algorithm
Suppression of sampling artefacts in high-resolution four-dimensional NMR spectra using Signal Separation Algorithm Publication year: 2011 Source: Journal of Magnetic Resonance, Available online 20 October 2011
Jan*Stanek, Rafal*Augustyniak, Wiktor*Ko?mi?ski
The development of non-uniform sampling (NUS) strategies permits to obtain high-dimensional spectra with increased resolution in significantly reduced experimental time. We extended a previously proposed signal separation algorithm (SSA) to process sparse four-dimensional NMR data. It is employed for two experiments...

Site-Specific Solid-State NMR Detection of Hydrogen-Deuterium Exchange Reveals Conformational Changes in a 7-Helical Transmembrane Protein. Site-Specific Solid-State NMR Detection of Hydrogen-Deuterium Exchange Reveals Conformational Changes in a 7-Helical Transmembrane Protein. Biophys J. 2011 Aug 3;101(3):L23-L25 Authors: Wang S, Shi L, Kawamura I, Brown LS, Ladizhansky V Solid-state NMR spectroscopy is an efficient tool for following conformational dynamics of membrane proteins at atomic resolution. We used this technique for the site-specific...

TROSY-selected ZZ-exchange experiment for characterizing slow chemical exchange in large proteins
TROSY-selected ZZ-exchange experiment for characterizing slow chemical exchange in large proteins Abstract A TROSY-selected ZZ-exchange experiment is described for measuring slow chemical exchange rates by monitoring the TROSY component of 15N longitudinal magnetization. Application of the proposed pulse sequence to the cadherin 8 N-terminal extracelluar domain demonstrates that enhanced sensitivity is obtained, compared to a previously described TROSY-detected ZZ-exchange sequence (Sahu et al. J Am Chem Soc 129: 13232â??13237, 2007), by preserving the TROSY effect during the mixing...

J Mol Biol. 2002 Nov 8;323(5):899-907 Authors: Stumber M, Geyer M, Graf R, Kalbitzer HR, Scheffzek K, Haeberlen U The folding, structure and biological function of many proteins are inherently dynamic properties of the protein molecule. Often, the respective molecular processes are preserved upon protein...

Comparison of fast backbone dynamics at amide nitrogen and carbonyl sites in dematin
Abstract We perform a detailed comparison of fast backbone dynamics probed at amide nitrogen versus carbonyl carbon sites for dematin headpiece C-terminal domain (DHP) and its S74E mutant (DHPS74E). Carbonyl dynamics is probed via auto-correlated longitudinal rates and transverse Câ?²/Câ?²-Cα CSA/dipolar and Câ?²/Câ?²â??N CSA/dipolar cross-correlated rates, while 15N data are taken from a previous study. Resulting values of effective order parameters and internal correlation times support the conclusion that Câ?² relaxation reports on a different subset of fast motions compared to those...

Very Fast Two-Dimensional NMR Spectroscopy for Real-Time Investigation of Dynamic Events in Proteins on the Time Scale of Seconds Paul Schanda and Bernhard Brutscher J. Am. Chem. This has enabled us to...
