Rapid addition of unlabeled silent solubility tags to proteins using a new substrate-fused sortase reagent
Rapid addition of unlabeled silent solubility tags to proteins using a new substrate-fused sortase reagent Abstract Many proteins canā??t be studied using solution NMR methods because they have limited solubility. To overcome this problem, recalcitrant proteins can be fused to a more soluble protein that functions as a solubility tag. However, signals arising from the solubility tag hinder data analysis because they increase spectral complexity. We report a new method to rapidly and efficiently add a non-isotopically labeled Small Ubiquitin-like...

Efficient and generalized processing of multidimensional NUS NMR data: the NESTA algorithm and comparison of regularization terms
Efficient and generalized processing of multidimensional NUS NMR data: the NESTA algorithm and comparison of regularization terms Abstract The advantages of non-uniform sampling (NUS) in offering time savings and resolution enhancement in NMR experiments have been increasingly recognized. The possibility of sensitivity gain by NUS has also been demonstrated. Application of NUS to multidimensional NMR experiments requires the selection of a sampling scheme and a reconstruction scheme to generate uniformly sampled time domain data. In this report, an...

[Question from NMRWiki Q&A forum] Automatically Saving VNMR6.1 Data Post-Acquisition
Automatically Saving VNMR6.1 Data Post-Acquisition Does anyone know of a convenient way to automatically save data in VNMR6.1? Occasionally, if an experiment is left to run overnight, I am not able to reach the terminal in time before another user runs an experiment. I would like to be able to tell the software to save the data once acquisition is complete. Thank you for your time! Check if somebody has answered this question on NMRWiki QA forum

Fast NMR Data Acquisition From Bicelles Containing a Membrane-Associated Peptide at Natural-Abundance.
Fast NMR Data Acquisition From Bicelles Containing a Membrane-Associated Peptide at Natural-Abundance. Fast NMR Data Acquisition From Bicelles Containing a Membrane-Associated Peptide at Natural-Abundance. J Phys Chem B. 2011 Sep 22; Authors: Yamamoto K, Vivekanandan S, Ramamoorthy A Abstract In spite of recent technological advances in NMR spectroscopy, its low sensitivity continues to be a major limitation particularly for the structural studies of membrane proteins. The need for a large quantity of a membrane protein and acquisition of...
