Default Structural biology tenure-track assistant professor position at St. Louis University

The position description does specifically mention NMR but my understanding is that NMR structural research would also fit the department need.

Assistant Professor
Department: Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Recruiter: Marie O'Sullivan Reynolds/ Senior Department Admin Requisition Number: 20100838 Date Posted: 10-05-2010 Status: FT Grade: 999 Saint Louis University, a Catholic Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking outstanding applicants for tenure-track faculty positions at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR level in the Edward A. Doisy Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Edward A. Doisy Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology). The Department has an outstanding faculty, a long tradition of excellence in research and education and is housed in the state-of-the-art Doisy Research Center completed in 2007. We are interested in candidates with demonstrated ability to develop strong and independent research programs that would complement existing strengths in the Department. Research programs focusing on X-ray structural biology and molecular mechanisms of systems relevant to health and disease will be given high priority. A Ph.D. or M.D. degree, outstanding record of publications, evidence of current external funding, enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring research trainees are important criteria for selection.
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, current curriculum vitae, relevant publications, future research plans, a detailed 3-year budget and addresses of three references to http://jobs.slu.edu.
