Postdoc (2 years) in MAS-DNP - CEA (Grenoble/France)

Dear colleagues,We have an opening for a postdoctoral fellowship in MAS-DNP NMR at the Institute for Nanosciences and Cryogenics (CEA - Commissariat Ã* l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives) / University of Grenoble). Starting date: before the end of 2012.The lab is equipped with a state of the art Bruker MAS-DNP system (400 MHz / 263 GHz) and is currently running a program to access MAS temperatures < 100 K. The lab also hosts a second 400 MHz system equipped with 1.3 / 2.5 / 3.2 / 4 mm probes and can access high field instruments through the French TGIR framework (http://www.tgir-rmn.org/). Access to 9 GHz EPR is possible in the lab and access to high field EPR instruments is also possible on campus (collaboration with LNCMI/CNRS, Grenoble).Researchers with a strong background or interest in Dynamic Nuclear Polarization / NMR methodology and its application to bio-molecules/materials are particularly welcome to apply. This fellowship is funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR). The initial duration is 12 months with an additional 12 months extension upon results. For further information regarding details of the research and of the appointment, interested candidates should contact me directly at gael.depaepe@cea.fr.Gaël De Paëpe

Postdoctoral Position in biomolecular SSNMR spectroscopy in Grenoble (France) The biomolecular NMR group at the Structural Biology Institute (IBS) in Grenoble is looking for a highly motivated young researcher to join its team as a post-doctoral researcher on a project funded by the French Research Funding Agency ANR (project leader Paul Schanda). The project aims at the molecular level understanding of the function and dynamics of large proteins, as well as the development of novel solid-state NMR methods for studying dynamics. A two-year contract is offered.

Postdoc France
Postdoc France The biomolecular NMR research group of Dr. Eric Guittet (http://www.icsn.cnrs-gif.fr/guittet) at the Institut de Chimie des Substances Naturelles in Gif-sur-Yvette, suburb of Paris (France), is looking to recruit Master students, PhD students and postdocs from all nationalities. Our laboratory uses modern NMR techniques to decipher the molecular mechanisms underlying biological functions for a variety of systems involving proteins such as enzymes, unfolded proteins and macromolecular complexes. We are also interested in structure-based drug design and in developing new...

three-years post-doctoral position
three-years post-doctoral position A three-years post-doctoral position is opened in the group of biomolecular NMR of the IGBMC institute in Illkirch (near Strasbourg), France. The research project is related to the field of the chromatin remodelling processes. In particular, we are interested to decipher the molecular mechanisms underlying the interaction between specific transcription factors, such as the deubiquitination module of the SAGA complex, and the nucleosome. The work will be conducted within a highly multidisciplinary environment involving several teams of the institute...
