Junior Faculty Recruitment Program - IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca - Junior Faculty Recruitment Program * * * * * * *

The IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellow position in Brain Networks. The position will involve research in the field of Brain Network Analysis, with specific emphasis on the reconstruction of networks from time-signal analysis and the detection of communities. Candidates should have a PhD in Physics, Computer Science or a related field, however a PhD in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance is preferable. Candidates must have an excellent record of high-impact international publications, excellent communication skills and international experience in the field. Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm for performing applied research in an interdisciplinary Research Unit. An excellent level of both written and spoken English is mandatory. The appointed candidate will join the NETWORKS - Complex Networks Research Unit (Home)

The position will be financed in the context of an agreement between IMT and the IIT Institute of Informatics and Telematics (APrICor - Analysis and Processing of Image Correlation).

Appointment compensation packages will depend on the candidates and their records of accomplishment, but are competitive on an international level. Applicants must be able to teach graduate courses in English; knowledge of Italian is not required.
