POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE
There is an immediate opening for a post-doctoral associate to study structure and assembly of the motor protein dynein. Approaches include primarily NMR, and other biophysical techniques such as fluorescence resonance energy transfer, molecular modeling, calorimetry and mass spectrometry. The research projects in progress are funded by a CAREER grant from NSF.

A Ph.D. in biochemistry, biophysics or related field is required. The candidate should be experienced in at least two of the following areas: protein expression systems, NMR structure determination, NMR dynamics studies, or advanced NMR technologies. Demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity is preferred.
