Postdoctoral Position in Solid-State NMR, Texas T

Texas Tech University recently funded a structural biology initiative to bring high field NMR to the Lubbock campus. In support of this initiative, a postdoctoral position is available in the research group of Prof. Benjamin Wylie in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. The successful candidate will join our effort to study the structure and dynamics of integral membrane proteins using solid-state NMR. Further information is available upon request. The candidate should have an advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or a related field, and a strong background in NMR. Experience with solid-state NMR of biological systems, maintenance of solid-state NMR hardware, and VNMRJ is desirable. Please send a cover letter, CV, and the names of three references to Benjamin.j.wylie@gmail.com.
